Thanks to all those idols from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Gen, their staff and companies who work really hard to build up Weekly Idol as we know right now. And thanks to Donni and Conni bcs with their irreverent, black humor and sometimes crossing the line but with permission (but many fans didn't know it), they contributed at some point for those groups to gain more popularity, bcs that show had their own fans native and abroad, like me. They work really hard since beginning bcs it was supposed to be a 5-6 week Tv show, but they were on MBC for almost 6 years, having big numbers for a variety show at a cable station for many years. Idk why people hated them bcs in a segment they hit some idols, but not the regulars one, they were tops idols, so, if those idols did5want to play those games, they obviously could stopped those games, but just bcs some fans watched some clips without content they trowing hate at these mcs, but actually with hose idols they had or have a very good or even personal relationship, this hammer thing started with G-dragon, and bcs of this iconic idol many idols wanted to participated with, so, could you imagine if G-dragon didn't wanted to participate on this game they could forcing him at that time? He was the No. 1 and he doesn't show on many shows, but bcs they were really close, bcs not anybody had G-dragon cellphone number and Donni had it. At that time, was really difficult for idols to have some screen time on a Tv show. Many idols with less popularity could showed on this program showing off their hidden talents, doorm, backstage, recording histories and much more, some random behavior that their fans loved bcs they couldn't showed, Etc Just a few companies sent their idols to this program, the first big company that sent theirs idols was JYP. They sent Got7 and then Twice, they really viewed an opportunity and put them like temporary guests to Jackson and Dahyun. That program was a blessed for many little companies at that time.
